The Management of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, has mapped out plans for adequate security measures and crowd control ahead of the matchday 36 fixtures against Rangers International of Enugu.
The Oluyole Warriors will tomorrow, face the table topping Flying Antelopes at the Lekan Salami Stadium, in a match that is expected to rekindle the old rivalry between both sides.
Apparently aware of the crowd the encounter would pull, the management of the Oluyole Warriors, have stepped up to map out strategies for adequate security and crowd management.
Executive Chairman of the club, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, while speaking ahead of the tie, said the club would leave no stone unturned to ensure a hitch free match, before, during and after the the top of the bill clash.
“We have been on top of the situation since the start of the season. If you notice, there has never been any issue as far as breach of security and crowd trouble in our matches, so for this game, we will do more because of the team (Rangers) involved”, said the 3SC boss.
He confirmed the receipt of a commendation letter from the NPFL on the team’s good record so far as far as security and crowd control are concerned.
“We want to continue with this, hence this game is a perfect match to show how well organized and disciplined we are here in Ibadan”, stated Akoro.
Meanwhile, the 3SC helmsman has called on the teeming fans and supporters of the club to troop out enmass to cheer the Oluyole Warriors to victory in the midweek cracker.
“We know the importance of their presence in large numbers and we are looking forward to more of that against Rangers on Wednesday”, Honourable Olaniyan, who however warned that the club will not condone any misconduct before, during and after the encounter.
