A delegation from the School of Science Management, Sooro Hill, Saabo Oyo, led by the Principal on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the newly elected Chairman of Atiba local government Offa-meta Oyo, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem.
According to the Principal, Mr. Salam Isiaka Adewale, the visit was to congratulate the Chairman on his election, and assumption to the office and to discuss potential areas of collaboration between the school and the council.
The delegation also included other members of the school’s management team, who engaged in discussions with the chairman and other council members.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Atiba local government, Hon. Wahab Waliu Adetunji Wabkem applauded the school management for the visit, assuring them of finding lasting solutions to their laboratory to ensure effective and productive teaching-learning process through the availability of science equipments.
He expressed concern for his commitment to support the school management and its students.
The leader of the House, Atiba Legislative Arms, Hon. Ademola Adeniyi Kayode in his contributions reaffirmed that the visit was seen as a positive step in building relationships between the school and the council and was expected to lead to further collaborations in the future.
Other delegates present are; Mr Salam Isiaka Adewale- Principal (Director @Ministry of Edu), Mr Akinlabi Tajudeen Ajibola- VP(Deputy Director) Administrative, Mr Abegunde Oluwagbenga Adeoye – VP (Deputy Director)Academics, Mrs Adegoke Kafayat Adejumoke- Education Officer and Mr AKANGBE Yusuf Babatunde- Education officer respectively.
