Following the exit of the team from the 2024 President Federation Cup, Technical Adviser of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Gbenga Ogunbote, has fired his boys up ahead of the remaining matches of the NPFL.
The Ibadan soccer lords, exited the Federation Cup after losing 0-1 to El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguiri in Abuja.
Addressing the players before their departure from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Thursday morning, Oracle as the gaffer is fondly called, charged them to put aside the painful and disappointing ouster from the Federation Cup and shift their focus to the league.
“We are out there is nothing anybody can do about that. But I want you to put that behind you and focus on the task before us, which is the league.
“I want us to approach Sunday’s match against Abia Warriors like wounded Lions, like somebody who has been insulted and bruised
“Every game in the remaining matches mean so much to us and we cannot afford to fail”, said the 3SC tactician.
