The Executive Chairman of Oyo West local government, Ojongbodu Oyo Hon. Prince Akeem Salam Babatunde Olukitibi has stated that he would reactivate sustainable development across the council area to compliment his achievement in the first tenure.
Prince Olukitibi gave the assurance on Friday after he was sworn in by His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde for a second term in office.
Speaking with Heritage Echo Correspondence, Prince Olukitibi was quoted saying; “To the great people of Ojongbodu, I’m elated on the confidence you reposed on me for the second time in office”
“I hope to consolidate on the past achievements and envision great prosperity on transformative initiatives”.
He said, “I’ll be more dedicated to urban-rural development and adhere to the rule of law”.
As the Executive Chairman, I’ll be committed to fairness, transparency, and accountability and fostering collaboration to ensure dividends of democracy reach the nook and crannies of our council area.
Olukitibi further reiterated that he’ll use the positions to render quality service to the people in line with the Governor’s purpose-driven leadership which has continued to bring positive developments to Oyo State in the last five years of his administration.
