Former lawmaker representing Oyo federal constituency Hon Dr. Moroof Akinwande mourned the demise of an illustrious Son of Oyo town, the late Prince Ajibola Afonja popularly known as IDS, who passed away on Sunday night.
Akinwande a former Board Chairman of Oyo State Water Corporation described the deceased as a great mentor of note. A big loss to the Òyó empire
According to him, the late Ajibola Afonja’s absence will leave a void that will be difficult to fill, his generosity knows no bounds. His political and business mentorship has reshaped the growth and development of the Oyo federal constituency.
“You spent your life serving humanity, Òyó Alaafin will forever remember your philanthropist gesture and may Allah accept your return, grant you Aljanat firdaus” .
