The leadership of the highest body of the Indigenous students of Oyo State: FOSSU NATIONAL has penned a heartfelt congratulations to a former commissioner of the State; Hon. Seun Fakorede and his counterpart Prince Falana Adebowale Adebayo following their new appointment.
ecalled that, The Governor of Oyo State Engr. Seyi Makinde recently announced the appointment of various agencies heads, advisers and board members to his cabinet.
The Governor in a letter signed by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi, indicated that, The former Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Seun Fakorede has been appointed as the Executive Adviser on Youths and Sports while Prince Falana Adebowale Adebayo has equally been appointed as the Chairman of the Oyo State Youth Development Agency.
ALARAPE, the NATIONAL President of the Union who spoke on behalf of the entire Indigenous students of Oyo State says the appointments are well deserved.
Fakorede has earlier served in the capacity of a Commissioner in the State and his outstanding records and achievements in the ministry can not be overemphasized. We can testify to that in the numerous leadership opportunities and capacity building he created for the Youths in our State. His elevation we believed will still bring more.
To Prince Falana, his commitment to the Youths development and Independency at various level has made him more worthy of his new appointment and we can count on that as a round peg in a round hole.
While we believe the duo will perform to expectations, we wish them a hitch free administrative experience.
