Hon. Oluwaseun Oyedele Oyewo (a.k.a Kosoro) has penned heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Governor of Oyo, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE on his reappointment as the Part-time member of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
In a statement released and made available to Heritage Echo News, Hon. Oyewo said, “I wish to thank His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State on my re-appointment as the Part-time member, SUBEB.
Hon. Oyewo described Governor Makinde as a God Sent Man to the good people of Oyo State and reiterated that he’ll continue to work progressively with the commission board chairman, Dr. Nureni Adeniran in sustaining the UNESCO standards of education towards projecting Pacesetter educational development.
“Your Excellency, I am profoundly grateful for your belief in my capacity for groundbreaking development aims to provide cutting-edge digital and technical education opportunities to the younger generation, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in the global economy.
Afijio Golden Son (Kosoro), commended His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde for his unwavering commitment to improving the quality of basic education as well as the accessibility of quality teaching and learning materials for teachers and Pupils.
” On my re-appointment, I promise to further discharge effectively with the commission development of Model Smart Schools, one of the legacies of your Excellency that marks a significant stride towards enhancing education in Oyo State, ushering in a new era of digital learning and skills development for its students”.
As I promise not to disappoint in the confidence reposed in me, I’ll continue to work harmoniously in carrying out the policy guidelines prescribed by SUBEB, UBEC, and other relevant agencies as approved by the State Government.

Oyewo further promises to work in tandem with co-members to operate an intervention, coordination, and monitoring of Local Government Universal Basic Education Authorities to provide unfettered access to high-quality basic education in Oyo State.
