……as Community promises to ensure their re-election victory
In its bid to ensure productive grassroots representation at the grassroots level, the councilor representing Ward 07 in Ido, who is ably seeking a re-election bid, Hon. Adedeji Adebowale, and his chairmanship candidate, Hon Sheriff Adeojo has donated a huge sum in contribution to the community development.
An outstanding local legislator, Hon. Adedeji in conjunction with his Chairman donated Four Hundred thousand naira (#400,000.00k) towards improving the development of the Elenusonso Community in the Ido council area.
Addressing the newsmen, Hon. Adedeji Adebowale stated that giving back to the community had always been his point of duty, giving priority to community development projects. He lauded the Elenusonso Community for putting their communal development first on their goals assuring them of continuous support for the progress of the area.
In their separate reactions, the community leaders appreciated the councilor, Hon. Adedeji Adebowale, and his chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo for their philanthropic gesture and commitment to the welfare of his people at the grassroots.
They thanked them for giving the community the rare privilege of benefitting from the dividends of democracy.
“We feel happy about this donation and for the sense of belonging, which the councilor and chairman have given to us. We appreciate them for their all-the-time support and pray that God will continue to be with them.
“Hon. Adedeji and Adeojo have always shown us that they love us and we love them too. We will go all out for their re-election bid in the upcoming local government election because they deserve to continue in office. We have known their tenure for good. Commitment to the welfare of the people is top-notch”.
While promising to vote for Hon Adedeji and Adeojo’s continuity in office for a second term in the upcoming local government election, they said Ward 07 Councilor and Hon. Adeojo deserve it and would mobilize the necessary support to get their ambition actualized.
