…Set to Commission Mosque and Boreholes in remembrance of late Alhaji Saminu Gbadamosi
Oyo Lawmaker, Representing ATISBO & Saki East State Constituency, Hon. Saminu Ridwan Gbadamosi, also known as Wale Canada, will on Friday, 22nd of March, 2024, organize his first annual Ramadan lecture and Iftar session with constituents.
Gbadamosi, who is the Chairman House Committee on Health, will equally commissioned Mosque and Boreholes in remembrance of late Alhaji Saminu Gbadamosi.
This was made known in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Thursday.
The lawmaker in his statement said that the essence of the Iftar session is to foster a sense of family and love among the people of Atisbo and Saki East State Constituency, adding that the month of ramadan is a month of opportunities for Muslims to seek forgiveness and show love among others.
He equally said that the month is also a time to devote oneself in prayer and establish a connection with Allah (swt) and a month of unlimited blessings and offerings.
Wale Canada, who noted that the mosque and boreholes commissioning tomorrow, which is part of Sadaqah Al Jariyah, as taught by Prophet Muhammed, is basically to seek the mercy of Allah over his late father.
He said: “This is a necessary step for those who have lost their parents. It follows the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, who said when a person dies, all his deeds come to an end, with the exception of good deeds that benefit others.”
The program will be held at Gbadamosi Avenue, Oke- Taasi, Sepeteri featuring Fadeela Sheikh Alhaji Abdur-Rofeen Jamiu Oloko Badru Samon Atewogba as the guest lecturer while Fadeelat Sheikh Alhaji Engr. Abdul Hakeem Demola Raji, the Chief Imam of Sepeteri land is the Chief host.
