With his opener against Akwa United of Uyo in last Sunday’s Matchday 24 fixture, left back Victor Ehibe, has joined the list of defenders who have scored for the Oluyole Warriors.

The light skinned defender, lashed onto a pass from Christian Pyagbara to drive home the ball, thus setting the tune for a convincing win over the Promise Keepers.
Here are the defenders who have previously found the back of the net in the ongoing campaign.


Adelowo Gbolagade – The center back, who has not missed a single minute in the season, has so far scored two goals in the season.

He scored from the spot in the 3-1 win over Doma United on Matchday 5 and grabbed his second though a powerful header in the 4-1 triumph over Niger Tornadoes on Matchday 7.

Ayodeji Bamidele – Was on target sensationally in the game against Niger Tornadoes on Matchday 7, scoring via a long range effort after receiving a pass from Adelowo Gbolagade.

Muritala Taiye – The highly mobile right back scored what will remain as one of the most important goal of the season.
The former Wikki Tourists and Akwa United defender, headed home a late winner as the Oluyole Warriors beat Bendel Insurance on Matchday 22.
