The Chieftains, Executives, and Stakeholders of Egbe Oloja, Oniseowo-Oniseowo in Oyo West local government have come together and rallied around for the continuity of good governance at the grassroots chaired by Hon.Prince Akeem Babatunde Salam Olukitibi and his vice, Alhaji Hon.Nureni Alade Adesola Eleniyan.

The endorsement galore took place at the government’s Quarters, Oyo West local government Secretariat on Monday had in attendance the leaders and chieftains of the Association (Egbe Oniseowo-Oniseowo)Alhaja Fatimoh Hammed, Alhaja Ajiwumi, Alhaji Isiaka Bakare, all Executives and other notable bigwigs within the Association.
Speaking at the gathering, the PDP Leader in Oyo West, Alhaji Adeyanju Bashiru (Marshall) commended the first tenure of Prince Akeem Babatunde Salam Olukitibi and Alhaji Nureni Alade Adesola, people’s oriented policies on a sustainability plan which further scored them high for continuity agenda.

According to him, the Chairmanship candidate has sustained the progressive development at the grassroots level through all-inclusive governance in the areas of education, health, agribusiness, rural roads, empowerment, and capacity building as well as sponsorship of the council indigent at Premier Technical University.

He admonished the electorates not to be irrational when choosing by the forthcoming council poll in Oyo West and Pacesetter State in particular, noting that the council administrator seeking a re-election bid has performed wonderfully well and executed projects that are under human capital development which is part of his strongest signature for continuity in the council area.
“On behalf of Egbe Oloja, Oniseowo-Oniseowo, our votes are for Olukitibi/Alade, We’ll deliver across the units and wards for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship and Councilorship candidates,” Alhaji Bakare said.
The Association secretary further called on the chairmanship candidate, Hon. Prince Akeem Olukitibi to swing into action when fortune smiles on him at the poll, by bringing basic facilities for the benefit of the people and traders at Irepo Market.
He reiterated further that the combinations of Olukitibi/Alade in Oyo West local government have purely depicted them as men who know the way and astute public administrators, adjudging that Olukitibi/Alade is an agent of development, claiming that they’ve changed the facet of the council by making Oyo West center of economic prosperity, a model for others. he affirmed.
Also, Alhaja Fatimoh Hammed and Mr. Olukoore underscore the continuity of Olukitibi/Alade claiming that they’ve so far performed creditably well in education, rural electrification, primary healthcare services, and portable water supply. While urging them to consolidate more on their second term as well as solidifying the good work of Engr. Seyi Makinde, at the grassroots.
The union equally advocates for upgrades of Irepodun Farmer’s Market, and Market Traders empowerment, as well as more dedication to social infrastructure and the Poverty Alleviation program.
Earlier in their speech, the Olukitibi/Alade Continuity DG, Hon.Wale Ogunsola, and Engr. Adewale Ademuyiwa lauded the leadership of Egbe oloja, Oniseowo Oniseowo. They solicit their support for the continuity of Prince Olukitibi/Alade’s productive dividends of democracy at the grassroots noting that equal distribution of resources, empowerment, and total transformation encompass the continuity agenda.
In his remarks, the frontline chairmanship candidate in Oyo West, Hon. Prince Akeem Babatunde Salam Olukitibi hailed the leadership, Chieftains, and Stakeholders of Egbe nose owo, oniseowo within the model council for the endorsement galore, support for continuity and aimed to build on the solid foundation that had been established in Omituntum 1.0 administration. While considering the Association as one of the major factors to be reckoned with at the grassroots level.
“Our continuity agenda will shore up the council’s revenue, infrastructural development, an extension of 10km rural road, creation of job opportunities, worship/training for the traders and providing soft loans with no interest for the Union so as the further curb the rising hyperinflation at the grassroots level”.
“We’ll also create a conducive environment for businesses to thrive as declared by the State government to jack up the economy prosperity and lots more”. Prince Olukitibi asserted.
