The unstoppable campaign moving train of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship candidate Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola and his vice Hon. Wasiu Mustapha Waspha tagged Omi-Aanu lands in Agboye Ward 01 and Oke Apo Ward 08 today, after an impressive and dazzling campaign flag–off of Omi Aanu 2024 last week at Ward 02, Tengba Oyo.
The good people of Ward 01 and Oke-Apo Ward 08 promised to deliver the chairmanship candidate and all Councilorship with massive votes across units and all Ward in the mother of them all council, reiterating commitment to Makinde’s good governance.
It was a superb campaign rally as thousands of its members proved their readiness to mobilize and elect their people’s choice candidate. Nothing that Oluokun and Waspha came from both wards.
Speaking at the gathering, the campaign Director-general of Oluokun/Waspha, Alhaji Rashid Kareem Agba, urged the electorates to come out en mass and cast their votes for the People’s Democratic Party, noting that it’s the only party that put the welfare of the masses at top priorities with sustainable development agenda. He further acknowledged the presence of Rt. Hon. Moruf Atilola who is also the Campaign Council Coordinator for Oyo Central.
In his remarks, Oyo East PDP Party Chairman, Hon. Sakiru Ojo, welcomed all the PDP leaders to the rally and appealed for their support.
He urged the electorates to vote for Oluokun Peter Olusola and Wasiu Mustapha Waspha as Chairmanship Candidates, as well as Hon. Hosea Olanrewaju) and Hon. Oyewole Solomon as Councillorship Candidates for Ward One and Eight respectively.
He reiterated that the people should reciprocate the government’s gesture by voting for all candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming Local government election on April 27th.
The Governor’s Liaison Officer in Oyo federal constituency, Hon. Iliasu Alawode, Mr. Oladokun Mukaila, Ayaba Mojisola Adeyemi, and Hon. Maroof Akinwande pleaded for all the party members to support all the PDP candidates and shun any forms of anti-party activities.

In his remarks, the Chairmanship Candidate, Hon. Oluokun Peter Olusola commended the party members for their unwavering support towards the forthcoming Local Government Election and promised not to renege on his promises.
He assured them of productive grassroots Democratic dividends, wooed investors, and created employment opportunities for the graduate youths as well as women empowerment in entrepreneurship and lots more.
