The Director-general for Engr Seyi Makinde’s re-election bid in Oyo West local government, Rotn Lanre Afolabi Idris (a.k.a Aloma) has bagged turning Point 2•0 award of excellence from OllyBoy Entertainment at Pensioners FM Ibadan.
Turning Point Award 2•0 was presented to him today, by the convener of OllyBoy entertainment, Comrade Olayiwola Akinkunni.
While speaking at the award gala ceremony, the convener, Comrade Olayiwola said it is my pleasure to see a good number of youths volunteering to help society in the little way that they can.
“It gladdens my heart to see youths who always see themselves as the problem solvers of the country. Our awardees today are distinguished personalities drawn from all walks of life. Politiciansand philanthropists aimed at transforming society at no cost.
Rotn Lanre Afolabi deserves the award for his numerous contributions to the development of our pacesetter state, thus, his nomination was ratified and endorsed for the “Turning Point Award 2•0” in recognition of his tremendous contributions to sterling performance and selflessness in rendering humanitarian and uplifting the standard of living of the people in the community.
In his reaction, Rotn Lanre Afolabi expressed his gratitude to the Convener of the award for recognizing his achievement and efforts towards the productive liberation of youth in the pacesetter State.
He also commended the efforts of OllyBoy in the entertainment industry by providing quality content and for providing good services to humanity in Nigeria and beyond, while making assurance that he’ll continue to pursue human development, which will remain indelible in the sands of time for many generations to come.
Afolabi now dedicated the award to Governor Seyi Makinde for providing the needed leadership the state was in search for a long time, with masses voluntarily in securing his reelection with massive votes which no Governor had ever recorded in the state.
The event was graced by distinguished personalities and a sanda delegation of various media outfits.
