Serving with utmost sincerity of purpose laced with improved welfare and overall development of society is the hallmark of an appointee of government.
No doubt, Hon. Busoye Ogunlade, the immediate past Chairman of Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency (OYSROMA) distinguished himself as a trustee of government in public office and hope of a common man on the street.
On many occasions, I’ve had the opportunity of calling him out publicly, but he never take such calling personally or perceived it as anti-government. The next thing you will hear or read from him is; “my brother, thank you for calling the attention of the government, I assured you, we will act urgently as part of the vision of Governor Seyi Makinde for good governance”.

Hon. Busoye Ogunlade delivered maximally in line with the vision of the OYSROMA agency to put our roads in good condition and ensure the free flow of vehicular movement.
At a point in time, I called the attention of the agency to a dangerous big hole in the middle of the road as droverive towards Bus-Stop Gate en route to Mokola, Queen Elizabeth Road. To be specific, the big hole was directly opposite Operation Burst Headquarters before the NTA junction, Hon. Ogunlade used his office and that of the Department of Public Works to facilitate prompt repair of the road.
In a similar scenario, I drew the attention of the general public, OYSROMA Boss to a death trap of an open fire hydrant along Oke-Bola road. Hon. Ogunlade responded with immediate effect to the call. His singular act in responding to the call has portrayed him as a responsive and efficient leader.

Hon. Ogunlade has joined the league of transformational leaders who prioritized the welfare of people across geo-political zones. Under his leadership, many roads received facelifts within and outside the Ibadan metropolis. His proactive way of addressing issues has placed him above board and as a public servant one would love to see government as Oyo activates OMITUNTUN 2.0 in days.
When flood took over the Olorunsogo entry bridge to Molete when coming from the Challenge axis, I drew the attention of the State Government to the menace and danger it posed for residents in the community. To my amazement, before I got to the site, Hon. Busoye Ogunlade had led OYSROMA men to the bridge to desilt the drainages and remove all clogs.
All weeds growing on the median of the road harboring and generating a lot of waste were removed.
