A Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North local Government areas of Oyo State, Honourable Adeniyi Adeyinka Kazim “Bibiire” has called on the Muslim ummah in the State to take advantage of the month of Qur’an, fasting and Eid-il-fitr celebration to pray for leaders and peace coexistence.
Bibiire, who’s the Special adviser on local government and Chieftaincy Matters to the Governor of Oyo State, in his Sallah message made available to HERITAGE ECHO NEWS, urged Muslims to retain the teaching of piety, love, fairness, Justice, equity acquired during the month of Ramadan.
“I felicitate with all Nigerians, especially Muslim Brothers and Sisters on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-el-fitr celebration. I congratulate all Oyo state Muslim men and women who have successfully undertaken the purifying Ramadan fast.”
“As we celebrate Eid-el-fitr, it is my hope and prayer that Ramadan’s spiritual lessons and the Holy Prophets teachings of piety,love, justice, fairness,equity, peaceful co-existence with others, tolerance, honesty and dedication to duty will remain with us all for the benefit and greater glory of our dear Nation.”
“May the lessons and blessings of the holy month also permeate into us and positively influence our attitude towards our fellow Country Men and Women, irrespective of religion or place of origin; and promote greater commitment to the peace, unity and stability of our Nation”.
