The executive Chairman of Atiba local government, Honourable (Mrs) Kafilat Mojisola Olakojo has been applauded by the council widowed, aged women for donations of Christmas package.

The exercise which took place at the premise of the council today, to felicitate with Christian faithfuls on the occasion of Christmas day.

While speaking during the donation, the council chairperson added that, the birthday of Jesus christ has a scriptural evidence that reflects the spread of love and teaching of harmony among ourselves. Celebrating this season is never the height of joy, but also imbibe the teaching that accompany this festival, let’s spread love and unity as we wine and dine in happiness.

The Council Boss, Hon. (Mrs) Olakojo while addressing beneficiaries of the relief packages, assured them of the continued support and provision of relief packages to ease their standard of living.

“Today, I want you all to celebrate this Christmas in your various homes, share love and happiness with your family and we’ll also ensure, we continue to do our best on welfare and infrastructural development of Atiba Local Government, where everybody will be largely benefited” Olakojo said.

She assured them of continued support and provision of relief packages to ease their standard of living.

She further used the medium to urged the beneficiaries to pray for greatness of our country and all those in the position of authorities.

May this year bring joy and unending happiness to you and your loved ones. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance. She prayed.
