Atiba LG Boss, Olakojo Visits EACOED, Promises To Fix Oroki-Alayande Road

The Executive Chairperson of Atiba Local Government, Offa-meta, Oyo, Hon. (Mrs) Kafilat Olakojo on Tuesday visited the Management of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo and promised to fixed the dilapidated road linking the College and its environ.

Olakojo made the promise during an on- the- spot assessment and visitation to the Management of the State College of Education in the Local Government Area.

According to a release made available to heritageecho.com correspondent, by Wale Adeoye, Special Assistant on Media Matters to the Provost, the Atiba Council Boss, said the road will be given palliative rehabilitation to ease vehicular movement of users.

According to her, “I am highly worried by the poor condition of this EACOED-Oroki road. While this is a State Government road, my Council shall ensure that we give a palliative to make the road motorable for users pending the intervention of the State Government”.

Responding, the Deputy Provost, Dr. Nelson Aderemi Oyewo who led other top Management Team together with the Council team supervised the dilapidated roads from the College gate to Oroki area. He later delivered the Provost’s message and thanked the Atiba Local Council Chair for heeding to the College Management’s call on the poor road.

According to him, “the Dr. Rasak Adefabi-led-Management had made countless efforts in seeing that the road is restored back for the use of members of the College Community. We are glad as a Management on your swift response to this dilapidated road. On behalf of the Governing Council ably led by Prof. Matthew Odedokun, College Management, Staff and Students, I appreciate the Atiba Council Chairperson for showing concern to repair the road.”

On the entourage of the Atiba Local Government Chairperson are Hon. Sadiq Waheed, Hon. Akerele Kayode and Hon. Sakiru Ojo while the EACOED Management Team has Dr. Nelson Aderemi Oyewo, Deputy Provost, Mrs. Olubunmi S. Asunmo, Ag. Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel O. Adegoke, Ag. Bursar, Engr. Femi Akindele, Representative of the Director of Works and Maintenance, Dr. Richard A. Foyewa, Director, Academic Planning and the College Public Relations Officer, Mr. Kayode Oyedepo.
