Lagelu PDP Unites Against Every Semblance Of Parallel Activities, Groups

The Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Gbadamosi Kazeem Adeyemi consolidates effort in strengthening the unification of the party, as he alongside the leadership structure of the party in a multilateral engagement, berates and declared every semblance of parallel operation(s) by any member(s) of the party as an illegality and a punishable offence against the party,
Emphasized the coordination of the party leadership structure, And unveiled the Akogun Femi Oyasodun led Intra & Inter Party Reconciliation Committee to party leadership.

Lagelu local government chapter of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) through its leadership present at the all party stakeholders meeting, passed vote of confidence on Chairman of the local government Hon. Gbadamosi Kazeem Adeyemi, and on His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, FNSE.

The “All Party Stakeholders Meeting” which had in attendance, the whole gamut of the party leadership; from the local government Executives, all Members of Elders Caucus, to all the leaders in the fourteen wards, has provided a window of opportunity for the party to strengthen its unity within the local government.

Held In Lagelu Local Government, all PDP Leaders and Executives across the local government and all ward Leaders resolved as follows;

  1. That the People’s Democratic Party in Lagelu local government does not acknowledge any parallel group(s) in affiliation with the party, in any part of the local government.
  2. That the existence and operation of any parallel group(s) in any part of Lagelu local government is an Illegality, Anti-party, and a punishable offence against the party.
  3. That, in the event that any member(s) of the party, for such reasons and rationale unknown to the party constitution, becomes culpable of parallel activities, shall incur  strong penalty measures from the party.
  4. That Lagelu local government is more united than ever before, and therefore not entertain any divisive action(s) and activitie(s) in the party.
  5. That we through this avenue, pass our vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman of Lagelu local government Hon. Gbadamosi Kazeem Adeyemi, and we fully associate with his local administration.
  6. That in recognition of His thorough commitment towards the sustainable development of Oyo State, ranging from the Akobo flyover bridge,Akobo Road the light-up project among others, from which our dear local government is duly benefiting from, We hereby pass our vote of confidence on Governor Seyi Makinde, FNSE.
