
The Executive Chairman of Atiba local government, Hon. (Mrs.) Kafilat Olakojo has joined thousands of Muslim faithfuls to celebrate the begining of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1443 A.H
In a statement made available to Heritageecho.com, while addresing the press conference, in commemoration of the new year, she said, Hijrah is the return of the holy prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) to the Mecca, after several years of jihad outside this holy land, and thus marks the begining of new Islamic year.
In her words, “the deepest meaning of Hijrah is about sacrifice, perseverance and patriotism, celebrating this new year is a special grace to renew our passion and energy towards ensuring we move our dear country to a greater place”

She further urged the Muslims faithfuls to imbibe the ultimate teachings and lessons that brought about Hijrah in their thinking and actions.
“Happy New Islamic Year, 1443 A.H. May Allah SWT brings many opportunities to the way you explore in every parts of your life and make all of your resolutions come true”. she prayed.
