EID-UL KABIR: OLAKOJO FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFULS, SUPPLICATES FOR PEACE

The Executive Chairman of Atiba local government, Hon. Kafilat Olakojo has felicitated with the Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year Eid-ul Adha (feast of gifts)

The Chairman expressed that “Ileya Festival as we used to call it, is a special festival among Muslims faithfuls. It’s a special one that brings family and relatives together once in a year” this expressly reflects unlimited joy and happiness among people during this period”

She further enjoined the Muslims in Atiba and beyond to imbibe the ultimate teachings of this festival and allow it to reflects in their daily activities.

“Let’s also use this sacred period to supplicate to God almighty for peace and tranquility in our country and to guide our leaders across levels in doing the best” she said.

In furtherance of the hands of goodwill extended to Muslim faithfuls by the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde, we also gave out rams, foodstuff and cash gift in order to ensure time of merriment of our people is prioritized.

May this year bring lots of joy and happiness to you and your loved ones. Eid Mubarak!
