
An Advocacy For Youths Empowerment and Social Development, a nonprofit organization, domicile in Ibadan, is set to host the maiden edition of “The Business Roundtable Discussion” and Entrepreneurship Summit, in the City of Ibadan.

In a statement made available to the newsmen in Ibadan by the organization’s convener, Mr. Niyi Odejobi, who explains that, the event has been scheduled to hold at UI Hotel Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, on 25th June, 2021.
While speaking on the anticipated programme, the Convener, Mr. Niyi Odejobi, said, “The Business Roundtable is part of our community and social responsibility, organised to assists the government in the area of job creation, capacity building, mentorship, mobilization of top CEOs from within and outside Ibadan, entrepreneurial management and as well liaising with the business owners, government with the ease of doing business.”


“It’s a way of enlightening government in the areas of providing funds/grants, assisting the entrepreneur to strive through the private sector establishment model. This is also an accelerated way of filling the gap between the unemployment rate and the government capacity to create employment and enabling environment in terms of branding, start-up tools and others.”
He added that; “the organization has also initiated, a partnership with the Office of the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Human Capital Development to make, the best use of young talents, successful Nigeria entrepreneurs that will help in brainstorming ideas on their success stories, and how to get access to funding, employment opportunities and lots more.”
Mr Niyi Odejobi reiterates that; “the reason for the summit is to encourage more entrepreneurs in tackling the high rate of unemployment causing insecurity within the state, and as well reduced the increasing rate of social vices.
“The programme has henceforth designed to be made a quarterly summit after the maiden edition on Friday 25th, 2021.”
Thus, the event will be live streaming online for those that will not be able to attend physically as the top CEOs from within and outside Ibadan like the founder of Cars45, Stop Ikpe, CEO of Max.ng, Akin Oyebode, The pioneer Executive Secretary of the Lagos Unemployment Trustfund, Seun Oseni, CEO of Glenstar Marine, Aare Gbenga Eyiolawi, the CEO of Titan Farms and the CEO of Tarim farms, Banky Lola, Sola Ladoja and the likes of others will be present to add value to the participants’ life at the event.
The convener, Mr Niyi Odejobi, however, advised Oyo state youths to attend the programme, it’s promised to be educative, impact and as well, life changing to every participant in Oyo state and the nation at large.
