We have made a promise to combat crime to the barest minimum, which has prompted our collaboration with the state government to see to the Evacuation and Demolition of abandoned and deserted houses/ hideouts suspected to be an abode for criminals terrorizing the state.

“Earlier today, myself, the Hon. Commissioner for Information and Culture, Hon. Commissioner for environment and natural resources, Hon. Commissioner for local government and chieftains matters, Hon. Commissioner for women affairs and the senior special adviser on security to his Excellency the governor of Oyo state, saw to the evacuation of beggars and stranded persons to the newly constructed and equipped resettlement centre situated in Akinyele Local Government and also the demolition of deserted houses suspected to be heaven abode for suspected criminals after prompt notification to the occupiers.”

“It is our obligation as government, closer to the grassroot, to maintain a sane society, maintain law and order for smooth and conducive running of resident and legit business owners in ibadan north local government.”
