We Will Prioritize The Welfare of Our People In Atiba Local Government, Olakojo says, as She Assumes Office

The newly elected Chairmen in Oyo State received their certificate of return yesterday and the swearing in ceremony was performed by His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde at the House of Chiefs yesterday.

In Atiba, another Political history was written when the Executive Chairman of Atiba Local Government, a woman of inestimable value and substance stormed the Sectretariat of Atiba with her mammoth crowd immediately after the swearing-in procession at Ibadan.

Kafilat OLAKOJO, the Executive Chairman was received warmly with the enthusiastic staff of Atiba Local Government waited patiently till 6pm to welcome first female Executive Chairman in the history of Atiba.

In his own remark, the HLGA, Esv Kunle Ogunsola expresses his utmost preparedness to receive the Chairman, Hon. Olakojo to the royal council.

He hinted that, Hon. Olakojo is well known with her vast administrative knowledge and in-depth global experiences, during her stay as the caretaker secretary to the council, she left indelible footprint, which are still in reckon till date.

While delivering her welcome address, the Executive Chairman, Hon(Ms) Mojisola Kafilat OLAKOJO, appreciates the well-meaning individual, PDP stakeholders, and the entire staff of Atiba LG and well-wishers.

In her words, ” I want to assure you all that all benefits shall get to you all and dividends of the government shall be evenly distributed among you all, but, I want to appeal to you, to exercise patient with us”

“More than enough tasks are waiting for us, we’ll get to the papers to work upon and ensure we work to complement the existing good work of our principal, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde” she said.

On a final note, she expresses that, the staff welfare and the entire good people of Atiba shall be her priority. “A happy staff, is a productive staff” she said.

In the same vein, the Party Chairman, Alhaji Surveyor Muideen Tijani, who spoke on behalf of the Party members, admonished all party faithfuls to be helping the newest administration with prayer, as that’s the only thing to complement the good work they’ve been doing, before and during the electioneering process.

The Vice Chairman-Elect, Hon Seun Olunloyo Oguntona also appreciate all party people as he ensure his utmost support to the administration of Hon Olakojo for a tremendous and promising stays.

The event also witnessed familiarisation tour of offices led by the HLGA within the Sectretariat.

Other Party Stalwarts at the event includes; Alhaji Tunde Agboola, Alhaji Gaskiya, Alhaji Wahab Olubuse, Alhaji Lateef Muraina, All Party Executive Members, Ward Executives, Stakeholders, Youths and Women Wings, Community Leaders, Friends and families.
