The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka has congratulated all Muslims on celebration of Eid-il fitr and successful completion of Ramadan.

He further advised Muslims to imbibe the spirit of sharing love, as well as to focus more on eradicating poverty in the society by sharing from their wealth and knowledge.

He maintained that if those with influence and wealth could share from their possessions, the rate of poverty in the world would reduce.

Chief Ilaka enjoined muslim faithfuls to remain committed to nation building while maintaining a life of dignity as taught by Prophet Mohammed (SAW)and observed in the just concluded blessed month of Ramadan.

He pray that, May Allah accept our request, fasting, supplication as an act of Ibadah

“Let us all teach our children to share love and compassion, especially to those that are not as affluent as we, and God in his infinite mercies will multiply our blessings,” he said.

He now advised Muslims that they should use this period of Eid el-Fitr to reach out to the less-privileged in the society and make them happy.
