Member, House of Representatives, representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency who is also the Vice chairman House Committee On Airforce, Hon. Abass A. Adigun (Agboworin) has felicitated with workers on the commemoration of the 2021 International Workers’ Day celebration, particularly commended the executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde for his workers friendly policies.
The federal lawmaker in a message released through his director of communication and media, Aremu Ibraheem said despite the trying times in the country occasioned by the incessant cases of insecurity and other economic challenges, said there is much to remember about the sacrifices made by Nigerian workers.
Hon. Abass commended worker’s of Ibadan North-East, Ibadan South-East, Oyo State at all levels both in the private and public sector for their commitment and dedication to work over the years, which he said has helped shaped the economy of our dear pacesetter state.
In his words, Hon. Abass said: “I want to salute your dedication and patriotic services over the years for always giving your best to your work irrespective of the challenges that abound”.
Indeed, myself, the state and Nigerians are proud of you especially that your activities have added value socially and economically with the hope that you will continue to sustain the peace enjoyed in the State.
While wishing workers a spirit filled celebration, he charged them to be proud of their work, called for more dedication and patriotism saying the challenges of the moment will soon be over as the government is committed to the improved welfare of workers and security of lives and properties.
