The candidate of Governor Seyi Makinde in the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Southwest zonal congress, has defeated the candidate of Former Governor Ayodele Fayose, Eddy Olafeso.
Dr. Eddie Olafeso polled 330 votes in the election into the position of Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, Southwest Zone.
His opponent, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, polled 343 votes while 10 votes were counted as void.
