The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo West Local Government stakeholders has pledged their support to the candidature of the party flag bearer, Hon. Prince Salam Akeem Olukitibi, for the forthcoming local government election, schedule to hold May 15, 2021.

According to the report made available to Heritageecho.com, Prince Olukitibi visited each of the concern party bigwigs yesterday, to resolved lingering leadership crisis, so as to pave way for peaceful coexistence.

While addressing the Stakeholders, he reiterated “that no birds can fly without the two wings”. He proclaimed that the leadership/Stakeholders of the party are major supportive pillars especially in this trying period. He then solicits for their maximum cooperation, during and after the proposed Local Government election.



Responding to the party flag bearer, Rt. Hon. Wale Atilola, affirmed his support to the candidature of Prince Olukitibi as well as his readiness to resolve the lingering crisis in the model council, so as to achieve the set goals.
Equally, Mr. Salaudeen Tajudeen Abiola, Hon. Fatai Okunlola Obabi, Alhaji Isiaka Adebayo, Hon. Prince Fatai Adeyemi(D-Gov) appreciates the reconciliatory move by the party flag bearer. They further expressed their satisfaction and support to the positive steps being taken so far by Prince Olukitibi, adding that he’s truly a grassroot politician and someone with a good sense of political maturity and high degree of leadership qualities.

“It is our believe that the lost glory of our party had been restored and the expected victory is ascertained” Olukitibi assured.
Prince Olukitibi was accompanied by his Vice-chairmanship candidate, Alhaji Alade Nureni Adesola.

Others are; Hon.Bolaji, (PDP chairmanship Aspirant), Alh.Adedeji Jelili Gbolagade Alala, Alh. Atilade Oseni, Alh.Adeyanju Bashiru Marshall, Hon.Wale Ogunsola, All endorsed Councillorship, PDP Ward Chairmen and Oyo West Party Executives.
Prince Olukitibi appreciated the party leaders for opportunity given in making the epoch outing a reality.
He also thanked the overall leader and the only PDP Governor in Southwestern Zone, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, for his leadership style, while promised to follow the footsteps of His excellency by adopting, an effective and inclusive government.
