Oyo Students, Stakeholders were in Sober over the death of a colleague, the former Speaker of the Legislative arm of National Association of Oyo Students (NAOS), Late Rt. Hon. Iyowu Idris Olalekan.
According to the report gathered, the deceased was sick for just 2 days and early this morning, he succumbed to death.
The deceased has been buried this afternoon according Islamic rites.


During his life time, he’s a devoted Muslim, his impact on development of Oyo town is second to none. He’s highly dedicated, committed, responsible and responsive to adequate welfare of his colleagues (Naosite), as well as architectural design of the growth and development of Oyo township.
Speaking on behalf of the NAOS National President, the General Secretary of the association, his statement reads;
“Good evening NAOSITES, stakeholder and former speaker of our dear association was reported died earlier today.
“Prompt attention was made by the national body in a bid to visit the cemetery where he was buried. The VP and the AGS were present at the burial to represent the national body in the absence of the President and to perform our franchise as NAOSITES and fellow human being.
“We appreciate the presence of the erstwhile speaker and president; Rt. Hon. Eesuola Quadri and Sen. Agboluaje Saheed Alabi and other NAOSITES that were at the scene, we appreciate you all time.
May the Almighty give friends and families the fortitude to bear your loss Comrade.
“Rt. Hon. Iyowu Idris(Late), it’s our earnest prayer that Almighty bless your soul and make you a victim of his mercy in the grave and hereafter.
