The kidnapping of students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Afaka, Igabi local government area of Kaduna is another terror attack against Nigerian students.
In a released to Heritageecho.com, the statement reads;
“We must stem the pace of kidnapping in our schools to ensure students are not bullied out of school. The Kidnapping of these students brought a new dimension into the scourge as the kidnapped students are that of tertiary institution. The nation cannot afford to have unsafe tertiary institutions as the nation need our best brains to solve our multifaceted challenges.

“We call on government at all levels to ensure the prompt release of the students and re-unite them with their families.
NANS also call on the government to be innovative and pro-active in providing security in our schools and campuses as we will no longer tolerate the invasions of our schools and the kidnapping of our students.
“NANS will in days ahead constitute a security committee to advise her on internal efforts NANS can put in place to ensure safe school and campuses.
“Before leaving Kaduna state, we will engage authorities in the state on their plans to ensure safe schools and how best NANS can assist the state to ensure our students are safe in our schools. Nans assured.
