The South-West Zonal Caretaker Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has invited all the party stakeholders in the zone to an important meeting ahead of forthcoming zonal party Congress.

The Call to meeting message was contained in a released statement to Heritageecho.com and signed by Hon. Daisi Akitan, the Secretary,  South-West Zonal Caretaker Committee.

The statement reads;

Notice Of Zonal Caucus Meeting

The South-West Zonal Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) invites all critical stakeholders of the party in the zone to an emergency Zonal Caucus Meeting, on
the 2021 Zonal Congress for the purpose of electing Zonal Executive Committee members, and other related matters.
In accordance with Section 27 (1) of our the PDP Constitution, 2017 as amended, those invited to the meeting are:

1. Zonal Chairman of the South-West

2. Zonal Secretary of the South-West

3. All other members of the Zonal Working Committee

4.Former Presidents and Vice Presidents from the one who are still members of the party

5. Serving Governor and Deputy Governor from the zone

6. Former Governors from the zone who are still members of the party

7. Former Deputy Governors from the zone who are still members of the party.

8 . Members and former members of the National Executive Committee from the zone.

9. Members of the Board of Trustees from the zone.

10. Former Zonal Chairmen, Secretaries and members of the Zonal Working Committee who are still members of the party.

11. Serving members of the National Assembly from the zone produced by the party.

12. Former members of the National Assembly from the zone produced by the party.

13. State Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen and Secretaries of the party in the six States of Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Lagos and Ogun).

14. Serving and former Speakers as well as Deputy Speakers of State Houses of Assembly from the zone who are still members of the party.

15. Former Ministers, Secretaries to the Government of the Federation, Ambassadors,
Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to the President, Chairmen of Federal Boards and Parastatals from the zone who are still members of the party

16. Three Physically Challenged Persons admitted into the Zonal Caucus by the
Caucus.

The party hinted all attendees that activities of the PDP are in strict compliance with the COVID- 19 Guidelines and INEC Policy on COVID-19 as they concern the gathering of people.
